What I Wish Someone Had Taught Me as a New Injector

My first injector course lasted a weekend. I left with a certificate, a few practice injections and a lot of questions nobody was around to answer.

I built my practice anyway — first through Botox parties, then a loyal base of patients who kept coming back. But I learned most of what matters the hard way. Khoda Institute exists so you don't have to.

The certificate isn't the hard part

Anyone can learn where to place product on a diagram. What new injectors actually struggle with is everything around the needle:

• Assessment. Reading a face in motion, not a face in a textbook.

• Consultation. Setting honest expectations and knowing when to say no.

• Confidence. Your first nervous patient is very different from a model in a classroom.

• Business. Turning a first-time patient into someone who trusts you for years.

How we teach

Khoda Institute focuses on neuromodulator training — doing one thing deeply instead of everything briefly. You'll train in a working clinic, with live models, under the eye of an injector who treats patients every week.

Why I teach

I came up through ER and IV nursing before aesthetics. The best nurses I worked with were the ones who taught generously. Teaching is how I pay that forward — and how we raise the standard of care in this industry, one injector at a time.

Who it's for

Licensed medical professionals who want to start injecting, or newer injectors who want stronger fundamentals and a mentor in their corner. Eligibility and scope of practice requirements apply.
